Our Nicaragua Los Pinos is sourced from family-owned farms in the Estelli, Madriz and Nueva Segovias regions which are part of the Promotora de Desarrollo Cooperative .
The COOP operates a centrally located dry mill facility where coffee is received, processed and selected for export to specialty coffee companies like Old Trail Coffee Company.
The COOP provides the farmers with financing, training, and technical assistance to improve the coffee quality.
In addition the COOP strives to improve the quality of life for coffee producers and their families through projects promoting income diversification, and education.
